In 11-limit Just Intonation, 33/16 is an undecimal superoctave measuring about 1253.3¢. It is the tritave inverse of 16/11, the undecimal subfifth. While the name suggests some variation of a perfect octave, the superoctave is generally considered an interval in it's own right being like neither a perfect octave nor the diminished ninth. The character is something very unique in that it produces a sound of undertones that resembles that of a large bell.
